Scones made with fresh milled flour and Cardamom
This is the perfect treat anytime of the day. Cardamom give these Scones a warm cozy feeling. The freshly milled flour add a little nutty taste. A perfect combination.

Ingredients
400
g
freshly milled whole wheat flour
100
g
of room temperature Butter
5
tsp
baking powder
1/2
tsp
salt
2
tsp
Cardamom
4

Milk
Instructions
Cut the butter in thin slices so it can get to room temperature
Preheat the oven on 250 ℃
Mill your Wheat kernels on the finest settings
Mix all the dry ingridients
Add the butter and work into the flour mix. ( I like using my hands)
Add the milk
Combine without overworking it. The dough will be very sticky
Make 4 equal size relativily flat round bread
Shape them with lightly floured hands
Cut an X on each bread and prick with a fork
Put them in the oven for 13-15 min, until they hava a golden colour
Notes
The dough is supposed to be very sticky
If it's to loose let it sit a few minutes before putting it on the baking sheet
