Are you like me, looking for a simpler life?
Then you have come to the right place
Hello and welcome! I’m so happy you are here. My journey to a slower life comes from years of stressful living. It is a journey of transformation, a path that led me to the tranquil rhythms of the countryside. It’s a tale of embracing simplicity, grounding, and the profound joy of growing and creating with my own hands.
I’m not here to teach you how to become self-sufficient. I’m here to teach you how take back a little bit of what has been lost in today’s stressful world.
May it be getting a small flock of chickens, baking fresh bread from scratch on a Sunday morning or grow your own tomatoes. You don’t need a huge amount of land. Any small space is suitable to grow something in, a balcony or even a windowsill. Small steps can have a big impact on how connected we feel with nature.

So who am I?
I read Molecular Biology at university but left because it wasn’t really what I wanted to do. I been in direct sales, recruiting and training. I have had a flower and in home decor shop and a non invasive beauty salon. My dream was always to become a veterinarian but life had other plans.
My biggest interest has always been animals and nature. I got my first horse when I was 12 years old. My favorite dog breed is Irish Wolfhounds and I have been lucky to share my home with 2 of these magnificent animals.
The amount of animals in my live differ from time to time. But there’s always dogs. Now I have Arthur, a Romanian rescue and Mimi, a little Spanish rescue.
If you would ask my spouse about my best and worst quality he would say “No patience, a hell of a temper and she can never pass an injured animal without helping it” Funny enough he sees those as both good and bad.
Here’s some odd facts about me:
- I’m a hopeless chicken hoarder
- My absolute favorite farm animal are goats
- I’m terrified of spiders
- I live in the south of Sweden and the south of Spain
- I love to read
- I choose my chickens based on egg color
- I drink way to much tea and coffee
